The time is now! Fat Ogre's Monthly 40k Tourney! Except if you win this event with a painted army we will cover the entry, not the travel or hotel, to the Las Vegas Open 40k Championships. That's an over $100 value!
This is not a friendly comp, this is competitive.
This event will be using ITC Format as follows: Matched Play recommendations from the Warhammer 40k 8th Ed ruleset. Details for this format can be located in the Warhammer 40k main rulebook (MRB). ITC standard games will be played at 2,000 points. Round time not to exceed 2.5 hours.

"Understrength Units" as defined on pg 242 of MRB may only be included within "Auxillary Support Detachments" pg 245 MRB.
A physical copy of the source material your army uses is required to have on hand OR official Warhammer Digital codex . No stolen/torrented PDF's.
Player Minimum for ticket to LVO: 12 Player Maximum: 22 Entry:$25
Call ahead, space is limited.
If we meet our player minimum then LVO is a go. With more people we will start adding store credit awards as well. NOTE: If we do not hit the player minimum, this event will utilize traditional store credit awards and NOT an entry to the LVO Championships
This is a great format if you look forward to the excitement of checking out new cards and playing without being required to bring your own pre-built deck.
Unlike constructed games—where you arrive with your strategically created deck—in a sealed deck tournament, you build a new deck from six unopened booster packs at the start of the event.
The guidelines require that you build a minimum deck size of 40 cards, but you can add as many basic lands (Plains, Islands, Swamps, Mountains, and Forests) as you’d like, even if they weren’t in the booster packs you opened.
If you're looking for a fun way to boost the size of your card collection while playing the game, sealed deck is the way to go.
Draft weekend is when we run a drafts all weekend long for the newest set for Magic the Gathering: Rivals of Ixalan. This will let people play with all the new cards, while building a great collection. If you're new to Magic, or just love playing limited, then these events are perfect for you.
